Nude demonstration in Malaysia?

Who? Gerakan Reformis Rakyat Malaysia (Reformis) 

Where? Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (SSAAS) 

Why? Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) rental rate increase from RM124 to RM250

When? 12 December 2008

Sounds weird huh!? But that’s what an NGO in this country is planning to do. What are they thinking? Why on earth would they want to do such thing? C’mon guys, to protest in nude!? Perhaps the idea is to show that when there’s nothing else to trim on their budget, they cast away their clothes. Haha!! Later if the cost of living still hikes up, would they sell their organs? (Well, that’s not unusual in some of the third world countries).

I’ve no intention of hurting anyone here. It just implies to me that the plan is totally irrational & immoral. So we have new way of expressing dissatisfaction now? Fuel price increase, go naked. Toll rates increase, go naked. Goods price increase, go naked. Seriously dude, I think the idea is a sheer stupidity. No hard feelings..
