If You Were Me, What Would You Do?

I was at a food court to order a meal. Loud and clear, I mentioned what I want. “Nasi goreng pattaya, NO sauce please..” The waitress nodded. She quickly jots down the details.

I repeated again just to be extra sure she got my order right. “Pattaya without sauce OK?” The waitress repeated herself after me annoyingly, as if she’s so stupid not to understand what I’m saying.

She stepped away, I laid back and wait.

. . . . . . . . . .

10 minutes later, she served me nasi goreng pattaya WITH sauce!! When I argued, she said I didn’t mention it clear enough.

That’s not the end of it. She also suggested the meal won’t taste good without sauce. #%@$?

If you were me, what would you do? Should i kill her?

my wife can’t tolerate the smell of sauce during her 2nd pregnancy.. i have to emphasize not to spread sauce all over the meal, otherwise i’m the one whose gonna eat them.. this happened few times but so far i’ve never kill anyone.. *just for the record*

I wud reject and ask for another one. especially when i order my fried kueh teow and ‘no pedas’

@ azwan, seems we’re experiencing the same thing.. if not bcoz of time constraint i would have done the same..

If that thing happened because of the waitress ’stupidity’, sometimes I just ignored and take whatever served.

BUT if it is dealing with the pregnancy thing… no tolerate! Just ask for the new one..

Some people, they don’t appreciate the customer’s right, but some did. Maybe people think we are fussy, but in some cases, we can’t escape the situation.

Me as a trader, dealing with customer, “just obey the rules, “customer is always rite”

@ sam, dealing with stupidity is indeed tiring especially when the person couldnt undestand what you’re saying.. i think in my case it is purely carelessness & refuse to admit it.. i guess u being a trader have much more experience..
