‘Resolving Host’ Problem
Today is Friday, supposed to be a day full of blessing. Well, not for me. Not quite…
I’ve been bothered with this tiny little problem for quite sometimes. Initially it happens once in a while, but lately becomes more and more often. Today it hit me to the max. I can’t access my own blog!!
Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you can’t access your blog for 1 hour? Still OK? How about 2 hours? Blood boiling? Let’s make it half a day.. can you still be calm? Yes you can.. coz you are an angel from the seventh heaven. I’m not, but I hope I can still contain myself from doing anything stupid…
Before I forgot, I must thank ~life4hire~ for his kind effort & willingness to help me out on this. We had a long discussion last nite, lasted until 1.30am. I appreciate everything he taught me. Unfortunately, the problem still occur..
These were what I got when i entered budeen.com in my browser between 2.30pm until 5pm today:
- In Chrome “Oops! The link appears broken.” & ”DNS Error. Cannot find server“
- In Firefox “Address not found. Firefox can’t find the server at www.budeen.com.
I’ve tried using openDNS as adviced by ~life4hire~ but to no avail. (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220). When I nslookup at C prompt, this was what I get:
I’m also puzzled why can’t i suddenly upload image file?

Virus Attack!
I hate to say this, but I’m not feeling well today. The whole family has been infected with virus for the past 1 week, except me. I got it today. 
My kids are having fever for few days now. On and off. The last time my son had fever, he was admitted for 3 days at a nearby hospital. That was one week before Raya last year. I don’t want that to repeat… (picture below)
Since I’m home today, I got the chance to monitor them myself. That means my wife doesn’t have to take emergency leave as she always does. I guess it’s my turn now…
How about you? Any experience taking care your ill family member?
iPhone OS 3.0
I thought Apple is focusing on the Next Generation iPhone as rumours spread. No more futher enhancement to the current model & force us to wait for the 3rd gen premier launching this summer..
I was wrong. Apple did launched their latest OS 3.0 for iPhone. It will be available for download this summer for FREE. Hooray!! (But i expect to see it sooner, i believe i can get it sooner).. hehe
Here’s what iPhone OS 3.0 can offer:
- cut, copy and paste;
- MMS;
- landscape view for Mail, Text and Notes;
- stereo Bluetooth;
- syncing Notes to the Mac® and PC;
- shake to shuffle;
- parental controls for TV shows, movies and apps from the App Store;
- and automatic login at Wi-Fi hot spots
- Spotlight™ search across the iPhone or iPod touch
I’m not sure about others, but I’m glad to have a legally/official/factory unlock. It sweeps away my worries to update new software.
