‘Resolving Host’ Problem

Today is Friday, supposed to be a day full of blessing. Well, not for me. Not quite…

I’ve been bothered with this tiny little problem for quite sometimes. Initially it happens once in a while, but lately becomes more and more often. Today it hit me to the max. I can’t access my own blog!!

Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you can’t access your blog for 1 hour? Still OK? How about 2 hours? Blood boiling? Let’s make it half a day.. can you still be calm? Yes you can.. coz you are an angel from the seventh heaven. I’m not, but I hope I can still contain myself from doing anything stupid…

Before I forgot, I must thank ~life4hire~ for his kind effort & willingness to help me out on this. We had a long discussion last nite, lasted until 1.30am. I appreciate everything he taught me. Unfortunately, the problem still occur..

These were what I got when i entered budeen.com in my browser between 2.30pm until 5pm today:

  • In Chrome “Oops! The link appears broken.” & ”DNS Error. Cannot find server“
  • In Firefox “Address not found. Firefox can’t find the server at www.budeen.com.

I’ve tried using openDNS as adviced by ~life4hire~ but to no avail. (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220). When I nslookup at C prompt, this was what I get:

I’m also puzzled why can’t i suddenly upload image file?

Hey, what the hell is happening here!?? *^%^$*@^$

Great!! This complete a ‘perfect’ day for me..

    4. looking at the NSLookup from OpenDNS, there’s a problem with the server name that being used to point to domain budeen.com. If you bought domain name along with NetKL hosting, ask them to check the server name they used to point budeen.com

    5. I can’t excess budeen.com in the afternoon, but now I can. I’m sorry that I can’t provide much help as this is too technical for a chemical engineer like me. Well, you are from a software engineering background…and I hope you can sort the problem with netkl. Good luck bro.

    7. @ azwan, i’ve tried 4 different connections:

    1 – corp LAN – leased line
    2 – celcom broadband to my laptop
    3 – streamyx @ home
    4 – PDA browser (also celcom 3G)
    5 – contacted cyza, he cant also access from JB

    so i assume everyone elses cant.. it only came back to normal 2/3 minutes after i contact support and this was their reply:

    “Have you tried to refresh your ip, in case, it’s an ip problem? because, here, I can open your website like normal.
    If the problem still persists, pls give your pc’s ip, so that we can check your ip with the server.
    Pls contact us back, if you need further assistance.

    8. @ cyza, it’s OK bro, later in future if budeen.com get chemically unstable, or organically inbalance, i’ll ask for you help.. hehe.. thanks anyway

    @ cyza, feedburner is only for fellow subscribers.. how about “organic” traffic, chemical engineer? haha this question suits you..
